Hinder

If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past few years you may not have heard of the new band ‘Hinder’. They swept onto the rock scene in 2005 with their phenomenal single ‘Get Stoned’. Both memorable and lyrically very different Hinder proved they were going to be around for quite a while. Also known for their tendency to subscribe, fairly regularly I might add, to the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, they’ve certainly made a splash, or would tidal wave be the correct word?

The quintuplet consists of Austin Wrinkler (vocals), Joe ‘Blower’ Garvey (guitar), Mark King (also on guitar), Mike Rodden (bass) and Cody Hanson (drums). The band originate from Oklahoma City, US. A full biography of the band and it’s members can be found here .

The band released their album ‘Extreme Behaviour’ in September 2005. It wasn’t very well received but since then the hype around them has grown and they have become recognised as a band with the potential to achieve wonderful things. Further singles include ‘Lips of an Angel’ and ‘How Long?’ in 2006, which I would highly recommend.

It’s pretty obvious Hinder won’t let themselves be forgotten so expect to see them in the upcoming months showing you how it’s done - the Hinder way.
